I would say it's  almost certain to be called off.
I'm only old on the outside.

they will save £14,000 on my state old age pension...
You must be on the SP ("Superior Persons") pension Ken - been drawing mine for a couple of years now & nowhere near that much - although I did get a "pay rise" recently of approx £3 a week - so mustn't grumble...
Interesting how "pension" (as in paid for over many years) is now called "benefit" - so we're now all scrounging benefit recipients instead of "pensioners"...

Curiously, although my local MP and I disagree on most topics, this was one thing that he agreed with me on - State Pensions are not a "Benefit" in the sense that Benefit recipients are regarded by the right wing press as scroungers ( lose your job Friday, you're a scrounger when you make your claim on Monday) The State Pension is an annuity, paid for through the equivalent of Insurance Premiums; successive governments have tried to portray anyone who has the audacity to live to claim their pension, as a burden on the state, this emphasis is now even stronger with this near fascist mob, led by the Eton clown, and backed by Crank Cummings

Yes suspect so.
On another theme best to leave politics off this forum, it has no place on here. The UK these days unfortunately seems to be full of knowitalls who criticise but could do no better. The current situation is incredibly complex and can't be fixed in few days. Enjoy the racing when it returns.

Deaths seem to be increasing at about 25% per day so a crap spread sheet reckons in 10 days we will be at 2000 or more and growing unless something else happens.

Italy has it bad and Spain is next, are we just going to follow on! Keeping away from others might help us and the poor sods in hospital risking their lives to save others.

the worst hit is bergamo in italy where my moto rumi swere made,if you type in.(bergamo italy virus news)and view the video of its main hospital you will see how deadly this virus is its scary, its a shame they haven't shown it on general tv as people will then get the truth about it.they have people in their thirties or younger in critical condition.
