Honda CB500 in trellis space frame - Does anybody recognise the chassis

This popped up on the US CB SOHC forum.  An interesting chassis, but does anyone here recognise it?.

 I believe this is a modified Yetman chassis ( 60's, US made ) probably originally intended for a Honda CB77,looks like its grafted on to the lower tubes of the 500/550 original. The main footrest in the picture is CB77 so this may make some sense.

Mind you even if this is correct there is still the ? why !
