Caliper mount
« on: March 14, 2021, 05:16:16 PM »
Can any of you knowledgeable folks out there advise me as to the type/grade of alloy/dural plate required to make a replacement front brake caliper mount (10mm thick).
Cheers, Ian Warner.

We usually use T4 for most stuff, 8mm (rear) or thicker depending on caliper/fitment

Thanks for the info Rob.
My next inevitable question - you use a particular supplier. All of my searches seem to turn up T6.

Oops yes its t6 sorry, I haven't got any supplier i'm afraid as ours tend to come from a couple of customers from engineering firms so we don't have to buy huge amounts
